Community investment is an integral facet of AIMCo culture. We have both the ability and responsibility to play an important role in the communities we serve through employee volunteerism and engagement in a wide variety of causes and campaigns.
As a non-profit organization ourselves, we rely on the generosity of our team to support fundraising initiatives for local causes. In 2015, AIMCo will direct its fundraising efforts to Youth Empowerment and Social Services (YESS). We are excited to put our efforts toward helping at-risk and homeless youth rebuild their lives.
Collaboration and Education are two of AIMCO’s core values and are crucial to the long-term success of any organization. AIMCo is proud to have been the lead sponsor of Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta’s Diversity in Action Program. In 2014, AIMCo employees volunteered to teach the program to ten classes of grade 7 students, exploring the concepts of conflict, resolution, fairness and the attributes needed to foster team work.
